2015: Came out of retirement and pitched two innings for the River City Rascals, allowing three runs on two hits and two walks.
2014: Announced retirement from professional baseball in April after sustaining an injury.
2013 (Professional): Signed with the Tampa Bay Rays on 6/20/2013 after going undrafted on 6/20/2013...Went 4-1 with a 3.07 ERA in 12 appearances with the Princeton Rays (Adv. Rookie)...Struck out 25 and walked eight in 29.1 innings...Nominated for the Erik Walker Award, given to the player who most embodies “integrity and is a positive influence, both on and off the field."
2013 (College): Made five appearances for the University of Oregon, posting a 5.27 ERA and striking out seven in 13.2 innings pitched.
2012: Pitched at Howard College (Big Spring, Texas)...Drafted by the Cubs, the second time, in the 37th round, but did not sign...ranked the No. 153 amateur prospect by Baseball America.
2011: Redshirted at the University of Texas.
High School: Originally drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 47th round in 2010, did not sign...2010 Rawlings Preseason All-American, District MVP, and Second Team All-State selection at Klein High School (Texas) in 2010...was a member of the 16U Team USA National Team.
