Anthony Maselli is an infielder who joins the Muskrats following his sophomore
year at Boston College. In 2016, Anthony hit .227 for the Eagles over 18 games,
13 of which he started. He hit one home run and drove in 6 runs. In 2015, he played
in eight games, making two starts at first base. Anthony hit .250 on the year with 6
RBIs and 4 walks. His first career hit was a grand slam. Anthony is the son of Tony
and Theresa Maselli and is the oldest of four children. The Burlington, Connecticut
native attended Avon Old Farms, where he was a three year varsity shortstop and
helped the Winged Beavers to a 72-8 record in that time. Anthony lead Avon to the
2014 Colonial League and Founder’s League title as a senior, continuing an eightyear
streak for the program. He was named the team MVP and was ranked the thirdbest
shortstop and 14th best overall player in the state by Perfect Game USA.
