Kyle Kubat kept the Brazos Valley Bombers (27-20) off the board during his five innings of work and the East Texas Pump Jacks (32-14) beat the Brazos Valley Bombers, 1-0.

Kubat allowed five hits, one walk and struck out five.

A walk-off hit into a fielder's choice by Kash Kalkowski gave the East Texas Pump Jacks the win.

Kalkowski led the East Texas Pump Jacks' offensive threat, as he got on base one time in the game. He also drove in one runner.

Jason Jester got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Franco Pace was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed one run.
