The bats were busy at McBride Stadium on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Richmond RiverRats (10-17) had an 11-10 win over the Jamestown Jammers (19-10) in 10 innings.
The two teams combined for 31 hits in the game.
Joba Ferrell racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the first, fourth, and ninth innings.
The Jamestown Jammers couldn't get anything going so long as Nick Coudret was on the hill. The Jamestown Jammers managed just one hit off of Coudret, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his three innings of work.
Jake Swiech (1-1) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
