The Centralia (3-16) didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the Tacoma (17-8) cruised to a blowout 11-0 win in five innings at Wheeler Field.
The Tacoma scored five runs in the fourth on the Tacoma scored in the fourth on a groundout by Brett Nielson, a two-run single by Derik Bontempo, a double by Tom Simpson, a sacrifice fly by Gabe Padukiewicz, and a single by Nathan Heath.
Bontempo racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Tacoma.
Cory Main brought the heat against the Centralia during his outing. The Centralia managed just one hit off of the the Tacoma's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his five innings of work.
John Sharkey (0-2) took the loss for the Centralia. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
