Eric Hailer drove in the go-ahead run to give the Nashua Silver Knights (33-11) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Nashua Silver Knights hung on to beat the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (7-36) 5-4 on Monday.

With the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs trailing by one in the sixth inning, Hailer came to the plate and homered.

Hailer was solid at the plate for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Hailer went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Travis Terrill got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed four runs over six innings. Terrill struck out four, walked none and gave up five hits.

Andrew Green (0-1) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
