The Keene Swamp Bats (15-4) blew out the Laconia Muskrats 9-2 on Monday at Alumni Field, Keene, NH after pouring on six runs in the fourth inning.

Nelson Ward boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Keene Swamp Bats. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Kevin McAvoy got the win for the Keene Swamp Bats thanks to eight strikeouts. McAvoy allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Regan Flaherty reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Mathew Aldrich (0-3) took the loss for the Laconia Muskrats (8-12). He allowed six runs in three innings, walked five and struck out four.
