Dylan Moore brought home the winning run to give the Keene Swamp Bats (22-6) the lead in the ninth inning, as the Keene Swamp Bats hung on to beat the Holyoke Blue Sox (11-18) 6-5 on Saturday.

Frankie Schwindel singled to start the ninth. He then went from first to second on a single by Jared Walsh. Finally, Moore came to the plate with the score tied at five in the ninth inning, and was hit by a pitch, plating Schwindel.

Moore was hot from the plate for the Keene Swamp Bats. Moore went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and eighth innings.

Walsh had a hot bat for the Keene Swamp Bats. Walsh went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, third, seventh, and ninth innings.

The Holyoke Blue Sox had no answer for Fran Whitten, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Whitten held the Holyoke Blue Sox hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Tyler Gauthier got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Andrew Thome ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
