Both the Keene Swamp Bats (10-4) and the North Adams SteepleCats (10-6) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Keene Swamp Bats that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-2 win at Alumni Field, Keene,NH.

The fact that the Keene Swamp Bats grouped all of their runs into the third inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Jared Walsh racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Keene Swamp Bats. He homered in the third inning.

Artie Lewicki struck out seven, paving the way for a the Keene Swamp Bats win. Lewicki allowed one earned run, three hits and four walks over six innings.

Jeff Roy led the North Adams SteepleCats' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the eighth inning.

Tyler Badamo was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
