An excellent effort by Matt Wattinks lifted the ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS (6-15) to a 23-14 win in seven innings over the Grindhouse (4-17) on Saturday.

Wattinks racked up eight RBIs on six hits for the ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS. He homered in the first, third, and fourth innings, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.

The ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS were in a difficult situation in the second inning before they recovered for the win.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 37 total runs and 50 hits during the game.

The ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS scored three runs in the last one innings to finish off the blowout win. The ThE DiRtY BaNaNaS scored nine runs in the third on a two-run home run by Wattinks, an RBI single by Brian Gallino, an RBI single by Tom Cusimano, a two-run single by Keith L, and a three-run home run by Wattinks.
