Hockey Milano Rossoblu hangs on, beats SHC Fassa 3-1Gianmario Scola Mon, Jan 05, 2015 Tyler Gron scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and Hockey Milano Rossoblu held off the challenges of SHC Fassa in a tough 3-1 win. A goal 10:06 into the first period by Gron proved to be the game winner, and powered Hockey Milano Rossoblu to the victory. Matthew Campanale picked up the assist.David Vallorani was all over the ice for Hockey Milano Rossoblu, as he registered two goals in the win. Vallorani scored at 12:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Hockey Milano Rossoblu and again while 19:47 into the third to make the score 3-1 Hockey Milano Rossoblu. SHC Fassa was stymied by Hockey Milano Rossoblu's netminder Alex Caffi, who stopped 31 shots during the victory. The solid play of Caffi will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.16. In addition, Hockey Milano Rossoblu received assists from Christhopher Murray, Edoardo Caletti, Tommaso Terzago, Andreas Lutz, and Nicola Fontanive, who contributed one each. SHC Fassa was led by Sami Juhani Ryhanen, who scored the team's only goal. Ryhanen scored 13:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Hockey Milano Rossoblu. Tony Vidgren assisted on the tally. Hockey Milano Rossoblu incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Kai Arvi Peeter Tillanen recorded 26 saves for SHC Fassa. SHC Fassa incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
