Naas nets hat trick, leads Benilde-St. Margarets to 10-4 win over Blake SchoolSt. Louis Park West Thu, Jan 16, 2014 Spencer Naas netted a hat trick to lead the Benilde-St. Margarets Red Knights over the Blake School Bears, 10-4. Naas got on the scoresheet 13:39 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:40 into the third and at 13:40 into the third.Benilde-St. Margarets' goal total was higher than its season average. The Red Knights have scored at the pace of 5.1 goals per game during the current campaign. The 47 shots that Benilde-St. Margarets put on net surpassed the Red Knights' average of 40.0 shots per game this season. Benilde-St. Margarets additionally got points from Chase Jungels, who also registered two goals and two assists and Mark Kaske, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Benilde-St. Margarets also had goals scored by Zack Hale, who had two and Jack Lawton and Evan Fleming, who each put in one. In addition, Benilde-St. Margarets received assists from Jack Sims, Carter Roo, Zach Ristau, Will Duda, and Nate Meyer, who each chipped in one and Ben Newhouse, Peter Heimbold, and Nick Austin, who contributed two a piece. Blake School relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Cade Gleekel, Coleman Dressen and Edmund Chute took 15 of the team's 28 shots. The Bears were helped by Charlie Hartwell, who had one goal. Hartwell scored 1:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Blake School. Nick Hughes picked up the assist. More assists for Blake School came via Johnny Ferguson, who had two and Myles Cunningham, Jack Lagerstrom, and Johnny Hartfiel, who each chipped in one. Ryan Bischel recorded 24 saves for Benilde-St. Margarets. The Red Knights incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Jackson Norris made 37 saves for Blake School on 47 shots. The Bears incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
