BTL Hornets 18O scored six runs in the seventh inning, which helped them defeat Derby Twins 10-3 on Tuesday.

BTL Hornets 18O got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Holden Groebl singled, scoring one run, Tyler Coffin singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored two runs.

BTL Hornets 18O scored six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the seventh inning. Cade Martinez doubled, scoring three runs, Quinn Groebl hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Cooper Schwindt singled, scoring two runs.

Cade Sutherland began the game for Derby Twins. The hurler gave up two hits and four runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking three. Cale Fossett began the game for BTL Hornets 18O. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out none and walking three.

Kole Dudding, Derby Twins's number eight hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Damian Garcia and Davin Brazzle each drove in one run for Derby Twins. Derby Twins had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game.

BTL Hornets 18O collected 10 hits in the game. Tyler Coffin and Eli Sitzer each collected two hits for BTL Hornets 18O. Cade Martinez led BTL Hornets 18O with three runs batted in. The switch hitter went 1-for-5 on the day. Holden Groebl led BTL Hornets 18O with four walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game.
