Orlando, Fl. - The Orlando Snappers are proud to announce their 8 All-Star Selections ahead of the 2025 Florida Collegiate Summer League All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 8.
STARTERS:
Matt Farner (Undecided): Farner leads the league with a .409 batting average in 24 games along with 6 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 long balls. The middle infielder has swiped 14 bags and batted in 16 runs.
Grant Comeaux (Undecided): The former LA Tech product is hitting .313 in his first 20 games as a Snapper. The third baseman has gone yard twice and collected 13 RBIs in his 64 at bats so far. Comeaux has also been one of the best defensive
infielders for Orlando.
Blake Fields (Miami Dade College): Fields is posting a .385BA for the recent high school graduate who entered the summer fresh off a State Championship with The First Academy. Fields is averaging over a hit per game having hit safely 25 times in 20 games. The Miami Dade commit has 2 home runs including a game-winning bomb in extra innings and 6 extra base hits total.
RESERVES:
Mario Trivella (Undecided): Trivella is hitting .225BA in 25 games for the middle infielder. The upcoming junior has gone yard 3 times with a pair of doubles and a 3-bagger while swiping 16 bases on the season.
Ryland Happel (Lake Sumter): With a 1.75 ERA, Happel is 0-1 in his 6 appearances while recording one save. The recent high school graduate has thrown just under 16 full innings while striking out 12.
Joey Wittig (LA Tech): Wittig is riding a 1.58 ERA, 0-0 while making 2 starts in his 6 outings. The recent LA Tech commit has 26 strikeouts in 17 innings of work while only allowing 6 free passes.
Billy Batson (Rollins): Over halfway through the season, Batson has a 2.45 ERA, 1-0 with 5 appearances, 4 of those being starts. The left hander has struck out 16 in just over 18 innings of work while allowing just 10 hits.
ALTERNATES:
On top of the 6 selected players that will compete in the All-Star game, the Snappers landed 2 players, Huston Guinn (Undecided) and Jax Carter (Rollins) that will serve as the alternates in case any of the selected players are unable to participate in the summer classic.
