Four Suns Selected to Play in 2025 FCSL All-Star Game

Orlando, Fl. - The Orlando Snappers (14-7) edged the Winter Garden Squeeze (7-14) by a narrow 5-3 scoreline.
Winter Garden jumped ahead early by scoring a run in the top of the second.
In the bottom of the inning, the Snappers took their first lead of the night 2-1.
It all started with Grant Comeaux (Undecided) reaching base safely followed by back-to-back RBI singles by Mario Trivella (Undecided) and Hayden Gustavson (Undecided).
An inning later, the hosts scored two more runs highlighted by a Matt Farner 2-run bomb over the left field fence to make it a 4-1 game.
The Snappers would score their final run of the game in the fourth inning when Gustavson brough home Comeaux on the RBI single.
With Orlando up 5-2 heading into the 9th, the Squeeze were able to get one run back in the final inning, but their comeback fell short as the Snappers closed out the narrow 5-3 game to gain their 3rd consecutive victory.
They will look to make it 4 in a row with some Friday night baseball action starting at 7:00pm for the First Academy in Orlando, Fl. taking on the Winter Garden Squeeze for the second game of this 3-game set.
Jackson Edelman (Rollins College) had a great performance as the Snapper’s starting pitcher giving up just 1 run in 4 innings. The right-hander 4 hits and 1 free pas while striking out 2.
