Date:  Source: BCPBL/PBL - Victoria Eagles

Three players were recognized by their coaching staff this week for their efforts during the fourth week of action this season.

The Golden Eagle of the Week is awarded to an Eagle player who demonstrates the highest standard of inspiration, strength and resilience. Qualities we value in our organization, on and off the field.

Week 4: April 21-27

Premier: Travis Harfield soared to new heights, earning the "Golden Eagle of the Week" with an electrifying performance both at the plate and on the mound. Over 13 plate appearances, he smashed 6 hits in 9 at-bats, including a double and a home run, while drawing 3 walks and a HBP, showcasing his keen eye and offensive prowess. On the pitching side, Harfield was equally dominant, tossing 2 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts in just 27 pitches, securing the win with pinpoint control.

Junior: Atticus Weaver due to his outstanding complete game 2-hitter against the Delta Blue Jays. His stat line read: 7 Innings Pitched, 2 Hits, 2 Unearned Runs, 2 Walks, 5 Strikeouts, all in 87 pitches. This was Weavers first start of the season, and throwing a complete game of this caliber against a team comprised of reigning National Champions was impressive to say the least. Hard work pays off!

Bantam: Tristan Lange who went 7 for 11 at the plate with 4 runs driven in, including a go-ahead 2-run homer in the 7th to lead the Eagles to victory. His hard work and dedication continue to help carry the team to win.

Congratulations!
