Golden Eagles - April 7-13

Date:  Source: BCPBL/PBL - Victoria Eagles

Three players were recognized by their coaching staff this week for their efforts during the second week of action in league play.

The Golden Eagle of the Week is awarded to an Eagle player who demonstrates the highest standard of inspiration, strength and resilience. Qualities we value in our organization, on and off the field.

Week 2: April 7-13

Premier: Aaron Forsyth, right-handed pitcher who delivered a masterful performance on the mound. In a stoic and commanding outing, Forsyth tossed 5 scoreless innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while recording 1 strikeout, all on 64 pitches. His precision and poise stifled the opposition, showcasing why he's a cornerstone of the pitching staff.

Junior: Dante Dewey, due to his hard work, dedication to his team, and great energy this past weekend. Dante sparked the offence with multiple hustle plays, and brought high energy in the dugout and on the bases. Dante also had 3 RBI’s in key times in our second game to help his team secure a victory against the Pirates.

Bantam: Beckett Muir, was instrumental in locking down the Bantam Eagles’ first win of the season. He threw a complete game on just 70 pitches, allowing only three earned runs and striking out four. His efficiency on the mound stood out, working quickly and attacking the zone. Beckett’s strong work ethic and natural feel for the game were on full display, setting the tone for the team and keeping hitters off balance all game.

Congratulations!
