Coming off a 6-4 loss in game, on Marquette’s home ice, Marian University was back in a familiar setting, Blue Line Family Ice Center, for game two. Then, at the 14:33 mark, Tyler Studant, assisted by Gavyn Galloway, put the home team on the board. Ninety seconds later, Wyatt Dobson, assisted by Frank Shediac and Mac Ryan, tied the game for Marquette. Armed with a 2-1 lead to start the second period Marquette hit the gas. Over the first six minutes the Marquette powerplay lit the lamp three times. Kicking things off was Jack Rose, 52 seconds into the period, with assists by Breslin and Gunnar Leary. Down 5-1, Galloway found the back of the net to stop the bleeding for Marian at the 8:43 mark.
