Game Day Is Finally Here

Date:  Source: Cincinnati Steam

Wednesday June 7, 2023 - Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio

Game Day has finally arrived for the 2023 version of the Cincinnati Steam.  The Steam will be led by Skipper Alex Dickey, returning for his 2nd season at the helm.  Dickey has helped compile a very diverse roster in size and depth.  This year's roster consists of players from all across levels of college baseball, but the one theme that holds true year in and year out for the Cincinnati Steam organization is the strength of local talent from the Southwest Ohio, Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana regions.

The Steam will open the 2023 campaign, later this afternoon at home, on the campus of Xavier University against the Richmond Jazz with first pitch scheduled for 5:05pm.  Free admission so come on out and support the Cincinnati Steam.

The Cincinnati Steam is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and a member of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL), a 13 team College Wooden Bat summer league, and a member of the National Alliance of Summer Collegiate Baseball (NASCB), in part funded by Major League Baseball, in its 17th season of play, beginning with the summer of 2006, with the league suspended in 2020 due to the Covid Virus.  Any questions, please direct to the Cincinnati Steam via cincinnatisteambaseball@gmail.com or reach out to General manager Tony Brumfield at 513-312-2838.
