The Victoria Eagles Baseball Club is pleased to announce that Jason Leslie has been selected as the Manager of the 2022 Junior Premier Eagles. Jason is an experienced multi-sport coach with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and is currently completing his master’s degree in High Performance in Coaching at UBC’s School of Kinesiology. Jason is a qualified secondary school teacher, a learning facilitator and evaluator for Baseball Canada, and is an accredited coach within the Baseball Canada’s Advanced Coaching Diploma program.  He has coached at the provincial and national levels and has led two different 13U teams to provincial championships. He was the manager of Team BC at the 2019 13U National Championships in Montreal. Currently, Jason is an assistant coach with the Victoria Bantam Premier Eagles. He also serves as the Vice President and Technical Director in charge of player and coach development with the Greater Victoria Baseball Association. 

Jason is eager to begin this new chapter in his baseball career and he looks forward to implementing a winning style of play founded upon sport science and integrated training plans for individual players. His goal is to manage the Junior Premier Eagles to a second BCJPBL Championship.
