Following the announcement yesterday of the advancement of Dennis Martindale to the QMJHL the Civics are proud to announce that Assistant GM Jordan Richardson will now be acting in the role of General Manager of the New Tecumseth Civics.

Richardson had this to say, " I am truly grateful of the opportunity given to be my Nikita and Igor and the faith they have in me to continue the tradition of winning here in New Tec. I have championship experience and I hope to use that in putting together a championship team. We have many pieces in place after a long off season and I am eager to get to work with the entire staff! Working with Dennis for the past 3 years has allowed me to learn and develop a management style that I think will be very successful. Looking forward to a great year."

In addition as another big announcement the Civics will be revealing their new Head Coach early next week
