Looking forward to hopefully a winning season. For myself I will be bringing a good attitude and a hard working mindset everyday I’m at the rink and at team functions. I will be looking forward to be using my skills to help my team win.”
The oldest of the three is Kelly, 2001 born, who reaches the 6 feet mark with a big frame the Civics are excited to see him use this season, Kelly has played for the Fort Frances Muskies in the CAHS League for the past 3 seasons where he has posted 22 Points (11G, 11A) in 32 games. He also played alongside Mainville with the Midget AA Fort Frances Canadians during the 2017-2018 season.
Kelly, is ready to help lead the Civics on a deep playoff run, “I am excited for this new chapter of hockey, I hope we will be able to make a stronger and more successful playoff run. I will be bringing a more physical type of play to the Civics lineup and hopefully be able to help the team to more wins in the regular season and playoffs.”
Civics GM Jordan Richardson was very happy with the signings, “ All three of these guys are coming in very hungry to play junior hockey and prove they belong, that is a great mental space to be in when you make the jump from minor hockey. I’ve had the chance to speak with all three of these boys and they seem like not only fine hockey players but great young men we are eager to see them get on the ice with us come September training camp and work towards our goal of a championship.
All three will be joining the Civics for their September training camp prior to the season beginning shortly after October 1st, we all in Civic Nation are proud to welcome you boys home!
