The health and safety of our players, staff, and family members are of extreme importance to MABL NYC. We are closely monitoring the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We’re currently awaiting for more guidance from state and local officials on how to proceed with our upcoming season. In the meantime, please make sure to follow the advice of public health officials and medical experts. We have placed guidelines and protocol consistent with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the recommendations made by the NYC Health Department:

  • Please don’t attend games if you’re feeling sick, regardless of symptoms.
  • If you’ve traveled to, or been in close contact with someone who has traveled to, one of the high risk areas as outlined by the CDC in the past month please stay home.
  • If you have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past month, please get tested before attending any league events.
  • If you have any non COVID-19 related underlying health conditions, in particular respiratory or cardiac issues please refrain from attending league events.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap is not available. Do not touch your face with unclean hands.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, or into your elbow if a tissue is not available.
  • Maintain a supply of over-the-counter medications, such as fever-reducing medications like ibuprofen or Tylenol, or other medications that household members use regularly.

MABL NYC takes this matter very serious and will continue to monitor the situation with the guidance of NYC Health Department and NYC Parks and Recreations Department. As of this moment we are scheduled to start our season Sunday, March 29th*

Subject to change depending on local and state laws on the severity of this worldwide pandemic. We will update you once we have more information.

Sincerely,

Tony Agosto
