The Stallions are excited to announce their fourth signing for the upcoming 2019-2020 season, signing forward Mark Petrin.

Mark joins the Stallions after spending the past season with the Montreal North Arctic in the QJHL. Prior to Montreal, he played for the Sainte-Agathe Montagnards, also in the QJHL. Away from the rink, he enjoys playing golf, listening to music, and working out.

When asked why he chose WMU, Mark said “Western was one of only a couple colleges throughout the country that offered both my majors, Athletic Training and Exercise Science, and allowed me to play hockey at the same time”. Off the ice, he hopes to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, while helping the team compete for a national championship on the ice.
