All teams are well into their season now as we complete the month of March. The Toronto Mets Alumni have been doing a great job South of the Border.  Tyler Black | FR | Wright State ended the month drilling three homeruns in his last three games. Leo Markotic | FR | JEFF-CO got off to a tremendous start to the month picking up a Region player of the week honour. Adam Parker | FR | JEFF-CO is now 2-0 with a tidy 2.40 ERA in seven games which included three starts. Tony Vavaroutsos | FR | Shippensburg had a great March as well blasting 4 homeruns and was awarded the conference athlete of the week. Matt Turino | SO | JEFF-CO continues to hit NJCAA pitching, he is hitting .357 with a homerun, 25 RBI’s, 20 stolen bases and 38 runs scored. Matt Hilderbrandt | JR | Limestone continues to hit for Power as the big Lefty has left the yard seven times this season and has driven in 20 RBI. Nial Windeler | JR | UBC has been spectacular for the UBC Thunderbirds in NAIA action. The left-handed pitcher is 3-2 in 53 IP racking up 70 strike outs in nine starts on the season. However, it is Liam Hicks | SO | Mineral Area who continues to dominate NJCAA pitching. In 24 games this season, Hicks is hitting .487 with 11 homeruns and 38 RBI’s he is currently ranked 5thin the country in homeruns.
