The second game of the day featured No. 3 Lindenwood-Belleville  pitted against No. 6 Grand Valley State. The Lakers would trek out to an early lead after a Rachael Smith power play goal with an assist from Allison Carlson. The Lynx would tie the game just a minute into the second period, off of the stick of Mackenzie Drost. The assists were credited to Kate Tihema and Jessica Walker. Right back at it though was Grand Valley as Carlson put in a goal of her own on a nifty backhand that rolled up the Lindenwood-Belleville goaltender. Smith would assist on the go-ahead Laker goal at the 4:35 mark in the second. Quickly to begin the third Alison Stapleton would increase the Grand Valley lead to two as she put in a goal, short-handed. Brelin Tasker would send another one home, from the point and unassisted at the 3:42 mark to sit comfortably. However, the Lynx had other ideas as they began their comeback as Alicia Williams would notch a goal and Hallie Fisher would put up a third goal for Lindenwood-Belleville. Grand Valley would hold on for the win as Lauren Allen made 38 saves. Hannah Stone was in net for the Lynx making 10 saves, and Emily Mcdonald stopped all three shots seen.

Two minutes later though, Katrina Robinson of Adrian would poke one home to tie the game. The second saw a second Adrian goal, this time to take the lead, when Nicole Paradis finished off a pass from the corner from Huntyr Bosher. Shortly after with another answer was McKendree as Delayne Ivanowski found open net to bring the score back to even. Alyssa Albee with the assist tally on the Ivanowski goal. With 24 seconds remaining in regulation, Bosher soared through the neutral zone and sent a shot on net at the top of the circles that found it’s way past the Bearcats goaltender to give the Bulldogs the late lead, and eventual win. Paradis with the helper on the game-winning goal for Adrian. Naomi Leasck was in net for McKendree, making 39 saves on 42 shots, while Dana Colombo stopped 12 of 14 for Adrian.
