The Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association (MHSHCA) announced that it is initiating new awards for the 2019 MHSAA Hockey Tournament.  Beginning this season, an All Tournament Team will be selected from each Division and announced at the conclusion of the Final game.  The All Tournament Team for each division will be comprised of 3 Forwards, 2 Defensemen and 1 Goaltender.  Additionally, a Tournament MVP will be selected for division!

The All Tournament Teams will be selected by the Media members who represent newspapers, broadcast media, web sites, etc. across the state.  All Tournament Team members will receive a medal, a certificate and invitation to the All State Banquet.

The Tournament MVP for each division will receive a trophy named in honor of three Hall of Fame Coaches:

            Division I – Ron Baum (East Kentwood)

Division II – Mike Turner (Trenton)

Division III – Andrew Weidenbach (Cranbrook)
