This year Section V was able to send 2 out of our 5 classifications to states, which is an improvement from nobody advancing last year as Section VI swept Section V in 2017!  Class AA Aquinas defeated Lancaster 39-7 in what most say was revenge match-up from losing 9-0 last year.  Aquinsa now advances to the NYSPHSAA State West Semifinals at Union-Endicott High School to go up against Cicero-North Syracuse from Section III.  In Class B we had Batavia defeat Section VI opponenet Cheektowaga 56-28.  Batavia will face Skaneateles in Section III at Union-Endicott High School for the NYSPHSAA State West Semifinals.
