Many congratulations to Bobby Bates, head coach of McQuaid for being named Coach of the Week for week 2!  McQuaid defeated Canisius 42-37 where at one point McQuaid was trailing Canisius by 17 points.  McQuaid is now 2-0 to start their season and will be facing St. Joes this upcoming Saturday, September 15th at 1:00PM at St. Joes.

The Buffalo High School Coach of the Week Award program is brought to you through the Buffalo Bills and ADPRO Sports.  They honor coaches from the Buffalo and Rochester region for each week (for 11 weeks) and provide them with a $1,000 donation to their football program.  At the end of the 11 weeks the committee will choose a Coach of the Year from each region and they will receive an addition $1,000.00 to their football program.  Additionally all of the Coach of the Week winners will be recognized at a Buffalo Bills game (Date to be determined) during pre-game and the winner of Coach of the Year will be announced at that time as well.
