ELITE LEAGUE FIXTURES RELEASED FOR 2018/19
Date: Jul 22, 2018
Coventry Blaze have added winger Kevin Morris to their 2018/19 roster.
The 25-year-old attended Miami University (Ohio) from 2012 to 2016, appearing in 153 NCAA games for the RedHawks before turning pro with the ECHL Manchester Monarchs.
Morris would go on to spend three seasons with the Monarchs, but enjoyed loan spells with the AHL Binghamston Senators, Syracuse Crunch and Binghamton Devils during that time.
In 112 ECHL games for the Monarchs, Morris scored 30 goals and 65 points.
“Kevin brings us a big body up front that can play anywhere up and down our line-up.” Blaze Head Coach Danny Stewart said.
“For his size he moves well and plays both sides of the puck well. He’s detailed in his approach and will complement our line-up very well. He can make plays all over the ice, but also likes playing in those tough areas and succeeds at it.
“He is another guy with high character and a daily approach to get better. He will be an important player for us.”
