Nottingham Panthers have signed 25-year-old forward Tyler Biggs.

The Binghamton, New York native was drafted 22nd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2011, and comes to the EIHL with experience of both the AHL and ECHL, most recently featuring for Kalamazoo Wings.

Biggs was also a member of the Team USA sides which won gold at the 2010 and 2011 IIHF Under 18 World Junior Championships, and the under 20 side which won gold at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championships.

“Tyler is another guy who could be labelled a power forward.” Panthers Head Coach Rich Chernomaz said. “He could quickly become a fans’ favourite in Nottingham. He’s a good two way player and we’re pleased to have him.”
