Thoughts from Recruiter Nate Miller:

As we scouted him this season, Grant continually impressed us with his drive and his desire to compete at the highest level possible. He was taking private lessons, enrolling in combines, and led his OP Fed team to an impressive playoff run. The thing about Grant that has always impressed me is his constant communication on the ice. He’s not shy about talking to his partners on defense, and he frequently plays the puck aggressively. The first time he came to skate with us, he impressed the returning players and the coaching staff with his solid mechanics and his compete level. We’re excited to throw Grant into the mix with our two returning goaltenders, and whomever we bring in to fill the remaining roster spot.
