The Dragon's are pleased to announce the local signing of Matt Ferriero, product of Ravena Coeyman Selkirk and Ravena, NY.

Ferriero, a 6', 200 pound freshman infielder from Fairfield University has the ability to play multiple positions and will add some versatility to the Dragons 2018 squad. He is also no stranger to summer collegiate baseball in the 518 region. In the summer of 2017 he suited up for the New York Storm of the Interstate Collegiate Baseball League. Matt experienced success, finishing the summer with a .333 batting clip while totaling 15 RBI's and 12 walks.

At Ravena Coeyman Selkirk, Ferriero excelled in three sports. As a baseball player he was a First-Team All-League shortstop selection three times. He batted over .300 all four years of his career, capping of his high school career with a .431 batting average as a senior.
