The Glens Falls Dragons have announced the signings of Brandon Ferrie and Mitch Guerrieri, a pair of right-handed pitchers from Goldey-Beacom College, in Delaware. Ferrie and Guerrieri are both expected to be key contributors for the Lightning pitching staff this spring. GBC competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference as an NCAA D2 institution.

Brandon Ferrie, a sophomore from Royersford, PA, was GBC's top pitcher last season as a freshman. In addition to making ten starts on the mound for the Lightning he also found himself among the league leaders in innings pitched (52.2) and strikeouts (34). Early on this season, Ferrie is tied for the team league in appearances with five. 

Mitch Guerrieri is a highly touted freshman, product of Wallenpaupack Area High School and Greentown, PA. So far this spring Guerrieri has earned the most starts on the team. In his five starts, Guerrieri has tallied a team high twenty strikeouts.

The Dragons open up at Saugerties on Friday, June 1st. Two nights later the Stallions will travel to "The Cave" for the 2018 Home Opener on June 3rd!
