The University of Regina Cougars have qualified for the 2018 CCSA National Championship by finishing first overall in the WCSA with a 22-1-1 record.  The Western Collegiate Softball Association qualifies berths to the National Championship a year in advance.  This affords self funded programs such as the Cougars the opportunity to financially plan.  The University of Regina qualified for the 2017 CCSA National Championship based on a second place finish in the WCSA in 2016.  This marks the fifth straight year that the University of Regina has qualified for the CCSA National Championship.  The Cougars captured the Bronze Medal in 2016 and finished 5th overall in 2015.
