The University of Regina Cougars kept their unbeaten streak alive with a pair of victories against the visiting Briercrest Clippers. 

In the first game of the double header the Cougars defeated Briercrest 9-2. MacKenzie Acton and Carmen Hughes shared the pitching duties for the Cougars.  McKenzie Lowes lead the Cougars at the plate with two triples. 

In the night cap, another strong pitching performance by first year Cougar, Rachael Huber, lead the Cougars to a 10-0 victory. Carmen Hughes and Leslie Miller both hit home runs for the Cougars. 

The Cougars will be up in Saskatoon this weekend to play their last five league games before playoffs. 

The Cougars sit alone in first place in the WSCA with a 17-0-1 record (19-0-1 overall).
