"I am proud of this team and what they have accomplished." explains head coach, Cole Warner. "They achieved this in spite of all the obstacles that were thrown at them this year. All the negativity was weeded out of this program and the remaining players have taken this team to new heights. As a team we are proud to be representing the university in post season play this year." The Mountaineers have had many changes thrown at them, and have learned how to work with what they have. Many players have took a stand and truly showed their dedication for this team and their passion for the sport. "Everyone on the team wants to succeed and we continue to push ourselves and motivate each other. That plays a major part in preparing for this post-season." Said assistant captain, Brian Dickman. Jake Gunn, assistant coach is proud of the team and the accomplishments they have made. "Making regionals is a huge accomplishment for our team and it is a true test of their heard and dedication to the team as well as themselves."

So how will the Mountaineers prepare to take on rival Cal U? "We are going to focus back on the basics and work on perfecting the errors. We have a by week, so we can rest our players who have worked extremely hard  to put this team where it is."  Jake Gunn explained. Head coach, Cole Warner believes the Mountaineers can defeat Cal U, he said "Cal U is an excellent opponent. There is a reason the game is played. Even though we sit seven spots behind them, I believe we can make a statement at regionals and come out on top. We have a long two weeks of work ahead of us but I am excited to see what playoffs and regionals hold for our program."
