The Titans U18 and U16 Premier Teams continue to have success and build off of strong starts in both the NAPHL and the AYHL.

The U18 Premier team currently sits in 2nd place of the U18 NAPHL Standings with a record of 10-2-0, and currently sits in 3rd place of the AYHL Premier U18 Standings with a record of 3-2-0-1, and come off of two highly successful road trips in the past month, as the U18s made it to the Quarterfinals of the Bauer Invite Tournament before falling to the Chicago Young Americans (Tournament Finalists) by a final of 3-2 in Double Overtime, the weekend of November 4th-6th, and the weekend of the 11th-13th finished 3-1-0 in Superior, Colorado at the NAPHL’s November Showcase.  The team is led by the high scoring line of Gavin Gulash (named 3rd star of the November NAPHL event), Kyle Jeffers, and Shane Haviland who continue to light up the scoreboard in both leagues, while getting steady play from all six of their blueliners and Colin Cain and Thomas Walker in net.  The U18s earned 3 out of four points in league play this past weekend with a win over the Valley Forge Minutemen and an Overtime loss to Virtua Hockey.  They will have the Thanksgiving Weekend off before travelling again to Blaine, Minnesota for the U18 NAPHL Showcase, as they will look to overtake the St. Louis Selects for first place in the U18 Division.  The NAPHL's All-Star Game will take place at 8:00pm on Sunday, December 4th and will feature Forwards Gavin Gulash and Kyle Jeffers, and Defenseman Jovan Zimmerman from the Titans U18 team.  In the absence of injured Shane Haviland, the team will be looking for other players to elevate their game.  Coach George Haviland commented on the U18 team, "It has been remarkable for me that Kyle Jeffers and Gavin Gulash haven't missed a beat playing at the U18 level.  A big addition when it comes to points has been Shane Haviland who's vision and ability to distribute the puck makes that line a threat every time they touch the ice.  It's remarkable to me how the new players have meshed with the six returning players from our successful U16 National team last year to make this a true team."

The U16 Premier team currently sits in 2nd place of the U16 NAPHL Standings with a record of 10-3-0, and currently sits in 2nd place of the AYHL Premier U16 Standings with a record of 8-4-0-0.  The U16 Premier team comes off two highly successful trips as well, making it to the Sweet Sixteen of the Bauer Invite before falling in a closely contested 4-2 contest to the Milwaukee Jr Admirals who made it to the finals of the event, and finishing the NAPHL Superior Showcase with an undefeated record of 4-0-0.  Offensively the team is led by newcomer Alex Konovalov who was named the 2nd star of the NAPHL October event and 3rd star of the November event and Nick Lidondici.  Konovalov has accounted for in 28 games of AYHL and NAPHL play, 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points to lead the team, while Lidondici also in his first year with the Titans has been a physical force up front and has accounted for 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 points in 28 games of play.  On Defense, the Titans have gotten strong contributions from Eric Sherman, Shane Miller, Pito Walton, and Mike Racioppi both offensively and defensively, and Ciaran McNelis has stood tall in net and has been outstanding all season long.  They will also have the Thanksgiving Weekend off before heading out again to Blaine, Minnesota for the U18 NAPHL Showcase, as they look to maintain their hold on the 2nd position chasing Omaha who sits in first place undefeated right now.  The U16 All-Star game will take place on Sunday at 8:00pm with Alex Konovalov, Nick Lidondici, and Shane Miller representing the Titans.  Coach Haviland is very pleased with the talent and compete level of the U16 team, "Our compete level at practice gives us the ability to compete day-in and day-out in both leagues.  80% of our team is made up of non-NAPHL players and are learning how to be away from home and show up and play during the four and five game weekends.  I have been very impressed with our 01s, Michael Kocsis and Jeremy Ambrose, and our goalie has been remarkable as he hasn't gotten a rest since August due to the injury to Blake Guerriero.  I am looking forward to the second half of the season."
