This fall, the Cougars will be going into their 12th season after finishing 3rd at Nationals in 2014 and 5th at Nationals in 2015. The Cougars have already qualified for Nationals this year, which will take place in Saskatoon, SK on Thanksgiving weekend. Starting in the middle of August, the Cougars will be starting training camp and holding tryouts as they gear up for their 2016 season. New players are welcomed to attend tryouts, however, they must contact Head Coach Mike Smith at softball@uregina.ca or at 306-540-3607 prior to camp. The schedule for the first weekend of training camp/tryouts goes as follows: 

Saturday August 20    10:00am-12:30pm  (Rookies and new players only)

Saturday August 20    5:30pm-8:00pm

Sunday August 21   10::00am –Noon

Sunday August 21   4:00pm-6:00pm  (Scrimmage)

The Cougars are excited for this upcoming season. Their hope is to finish this season by taking home a gold medal at Nationals in their home province. Go Cougars!
