Behind a great game by Ryan Atkinson, who had two goals and one assist, Maryland-Baltimore County Univ defeated West Virginia University, 4-0.
Atkinson found the back of the net 6:06 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Maryland-Baltimore County Univ and again while short handed 13:58 into the second to make the score 3-0 Maryland-Baltimore County Univ.
