Hockey Milano Rossoblu vanquishes HC Egna Riwega in shootout, 3-2 (3-1 SO)

Nicola Fontanive scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Hockey Milano Rossoblu picked up the extra point in a 3-2 (3-1 SO) win over HC Egna Riwega.

The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout. HC Egna Riwega got a shootout goal from Michael Sullmann. In addition to the clincher, Hockey Milano Rossoblu got shootout goals from David Vallorani and Fontanive.

Vallorani had two goals to lead Hockey Milano Rossoblu to victory. Vallorani scored at 9:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hockey Milano Rossoblu and again while 15:03 into the second to make the score 2-1 Hockey Milano Rossoblu.

More assists for Hockey Milano Rossoblu came via Tyler Gron and Fontanive, who contributed one each.

HC Egna Riwega put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hockey Milano Rossoblu to score on any of its five power plays.

HC Egna Riwega was helped by Alexander Sullmann, who had one goal. Sullmann scored 15:03 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Paolo Bustreo picked up the assist. HC Egna Riwega also got a goal from Eric Daniel Lampe as well. Other players who recorded assists for HC Egna Riwega were Rudi Locatin, Christian Willeit, and Flavio Faggioni, who each chipped in one.
