A free agent signing before the 2018 season, Ross was the bat that the Mets needed to add. He has anchored the #2 slot in the lineup vacated by the loss of Renato Alomia who was placed on the FR list (family reserve - coaching his daughters team), and adds stability in the outfield. Straightball, he hits it very much.
