An exceptional effort by Erik Walter spurred the STONED SOUP (17-6) to a 16-13 win in seven innings over the nemesis (9-14) on Sunday at :Firemens Field In Lindenhurst.

Walter racked up nine RBIs on three hits for the STONED SOUP. He homered in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Bo budkevic rocked the STONED SOUP with two home runs. Budkevic went 4-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Budkevic homered in the third and fourth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 29 runs and 42 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.

Even though Dan Aliamo allowed 13 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 19 hits.

Bob Nipper couldn't get it done on the mound for the nemesis, taking a loss. He allowed 16 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out none.
