The Alameda Merchants (7-9) and the San Francisco Seagulls (6-8) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Alameda Merchants capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Fairmont Field.

Christian Leung had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Andrew Herrera pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, nine hits and no walks while striking out five.

Kyle Barret had two extra-base hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the first innings, tripled in the third inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.
