The North Carolina native scored the game-winner and set up an insurance goal early in the third period to seal the victory.

Friday night, Freshman Logan Johnson was called on for his first start of the season, recording a shutout in a 4-0 road win. The 34 save performance led his team to a victory over CHMA rival John Carroll University.

Pitt defensemen Shawn Philipps led the Panthers to two dominant victories in their road sweep of the Towson University Tigers. Friday night he scored 1 goal & 3 assists, as the Panthers defeated the Tigers by a score of 8-1. He followed that up with a goal & assist in an 8-0 shutout on Saturday.
