Nick is a senior at West Bend West High School and was a starter on the 2017 State Championship team. Nick finished his second year at MBA and was excellent both years. Nick is a great defensive outfielder with a solid bat making him very valuable in any lineup. After an outstanding fall with MBA, Nick decided to continue his baseball career at Marian University and will join the Sabres in 2018. We caught up with Nick and here’s what he had to say about his college commitment and MBA:

How has MBA helped you as a baseball player? MBA was a huge help through the recruiting process. I didn’t know much coming in and Dave and the rest of the coaches were great with helping me understand the recruiting process.

What was different about playing with MBA than other teams? The friendly atmosphere that MBA has is unmatched. Everyone at MBA is willing and excited to work with you which is very unique to MBA.

How did MBA help you individually with the recruiting process? Going out of state with the team and getting in front of lots of college coaches, and having Dave around to bounce questions off of was very helpful.

What was a highlight from playing with MBA? The Notre Dame Tournament was a lot of fun, getting to play on the field and being on the campus was great.

What was the deciding factor in choosing Marian? The atmosphere at Marian is similar to the friendly atmosphere at MBA which was something that stood out to me at Marian and helped solidify my decision.

What are you planning on studying at Marian? I’m planning on majoring in business management.
