TRYOUTS for 2019 Fall and 2020 Summer Teams Announced!!!

MBA's 18u Elite team had a very successful 2017 fall season, posting a solid 26-8 record through 9 tournaments. Over the course of the fall, MBA played at many top tier colleges, including Notre Dame, and Illinois State University. The team did very well on the mound, giving up only 90 runs on the season, while striking out 164 batters. On offense, MBA Elite scored 240 runs on 220 hits. The first tournament in Minnesota was cut short due to weather, but MBA did get their first win during the tournament, ending the short weekend 1-2. The next weekend in Hammond, IN, MBA lost the first game, but bounced back winning the next 3 games and placing 1st in the tournament. At the Illinois State tourney, MBA went 3-1 for the second weekend in a row. MBA had their first undefeated tournament in Moline, IL, during the 29ers tournament while matching up against some of the top talent in the Midwest. The following weekend in Notre Dame was another successful one for MBA, as the team went 3-1 again. During the Northern Invitational, MBA went 2-2 after having two close losses both days, and two convincing wins. The DSP World Series was the second time that MBA lost games due to weather, but not before going 2-0. In Kenosha, the team went 3-0, losing one game to rain. The last tournament in Indiana was another strong showing for MBA, going 3-1 to wrap up the fall.
