Malachi Hanes went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the SBA Bones (27-12) to a 5-4 victory in seven innings over the Carolina Vipers (23-14) on Friday at Charlotte Christian.

Andrew Vaccacio pitched lights out for the SBA Bones. The Carolina Vipers managed just two hits off of Vaccacio, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out seven during his four innings of work.

Bradley Brown had a hot bat for the Carolina Vipers. Brown went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Jonathan Koletic got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Hunter Dobson was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed no runs.
