Another strong performance by Brian Centella with 27 points leads Heart Squad to victory over the Big Red Bears. In the best 3-0 and 0-3 match up one can ask for, the Big Red Bears came firing, just did not have enough ammo. They shot 10-30 from deep led by Castagnetti with 21 points 6 rebounds and Kevin Kucera with 18 points 8 rebounds and 3 assists. While they seemed to settle for long shots, Heart Squad seemed to walk into them, shooting 9-21 while attacking the basket with much more consistency.

Tim Kelly also was a huge contribution with a double double, with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The 17 assists on 26 made baskets was the biggest difference for Heart Squad, whose team chemistry cannot be measured statistically. After building a double digit lead, they withstood the Big Red Bears 4th quarter run to edge the Bears 79-74.
