In the game of the night the Ballerz and Lawrence University took a heated 52 all tie into the 4th. The Ballerz had been trailing for a majority of the game slightly, and finally were able to bring it even. David Kay and Darius Jones put the team on their back scoring 50 of the teams 72 points. Lawrence, while more balanced, and with more assisted makes, just couldn’t hit the big shots down the stretch as they did in the 1st half.

Evan McLaughlin led the team with 16 points and 11 rebounds, but the physical play and the trash talk was the focal point of this game. The Ballerz with another strong showing against a tough team, was outrebounded significantly but made their difference on the free throw line, hitting 11 of 13, while Lawrence couldn’t convert on half, shooting 5 for 12. This was a huge difference as the Ballerz powered past Lawrence 72-66.
